Catholic Charities USA Campaign to Reduce Poverty

Help Us Open a Brand New Homeless Shelter in Bedford, IN

Becky’s Place will be an emergency shelter designed to “provide shelter and create hope” for homeless women and children who are moving toward a life of self-sufficiency. With the rising cost of living, numerous home foreclosures, sky-rocketing unemployment rates and increased taxes, more and more families are being impacted. Many of these factors have increasingly touched the lives of those who once experienced financial security, causing an even greater increase in demand for emergency services within our community.

While financial support is certainly the most immediate need, community members can participate in the shelter in a variety of ways: organizing material donations, office assistance, general upkeep of the facility, and more. If you'd like to make a financial gift, you may do so securely by clicking the "Donate Online" link in the left column of this page. Please designate your gift to Catholic Charities in Bloomington.
