Bethany House (812-232-4978) - a homeless shelter for families and single parents with children. Operates a free soup kitchen
serving the hungry year-round from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Additionally, provides a free clothes closet for families and individuals
Ryves Hall Youth Center (812-235-1265) - provides latchkey programs for children after school: 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Included are: counseling, tutoring, free evening meals, Boy and Girl Scout Troops, sports, games, computer lab,
and bike shop. Provides a pre-school for homeless and "at risk" children from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Christmas House and Store (812-234-7242) - Christmas gift assistance for needy families
Household Exchange (812-234-1132) - provides furniture and household items free of charge to families in need
Food Bank (812-235-3424) - Gathers and distributes nearly 2 million pounds of food annually to soup kitchens, food pantries, senior centers, youth centers and other charitable agencies
Simeon House (812-232-6144) - a congregate living facility for seniors, providing housing, three meals a day, laundry facilities, a Day Activities Program, a Senior Assistance Program, and housing assistance
