Upcoming Events

August 14, 2018: Substance Addiction Ministry Mass: Prayer for those Struggling with Addictions, their Families and Community

Addiction touches many people's lives, but it is something that few of us really discuss.  Addiction should not be battled alone!  It impacts the individual, family, and community-we all know someone who is affected by an addiction of some sort.  Please join Archbishop Thompson and Substance Addiction Ministries of Archdiocese of Indianapolis on August 14 at 7:00 pm for a Votive Mass at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral (1347 North Meridian St, Indianapolis 46202), where we will lift up in prayer those who are afflicted and affected by addictions.  A reception and refreshments will be available immediately following Mass in the Cathedral Parlor. Please contact us at  with any questions.

Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
