Bible StudyCatholic Bible studies have grown in breadth and depth
Bible study programs for Catholic laity started to be developed in earnest after the Second Vatican Council concluded in 1965. But according to Peg McEvoy, it has been during the past 10 years that the breadth and depth of those study programs have really begun to expand. “The driving force has been the needs of the parishioners,” McEvoy said. “As someone learns more about the Bible, they want to know more. And they want it tied even more closely to their life.” (Page 9)

Archbishop BuechleinArchbishop Buechlein Moved To Rehabilitation Hospital Following Stroke
Indianapolis Archbishop Daniel M. Buechlein, O.S.B. was released from St. Vincent Hospital and transferred to a rehabilitation hospital on Wednesday to begin therapy to recover from a stroke he suffered on March 18.The archbishop, 72, is expected to undergo three to four weeks of therapy at the hospital. (Page 2)
