Papal nuncio's reflections and memories of his ministry as a papal diplomat
When The Criterion interviewed Archbishop Pietro Sambi, apostolic nuncio to the United States, during his visit to Indiana, we got more from him than we had room to print. Following up on last week, we're running the extra material online. In this second part, read what the nuncio has to say about his ministry as a papal diplomat, including Pope John Paul II’s 2000 pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
