Former Christ the King parishioner professes vows with Dominicans

Dominican Sister Imelda Grace LeeDominican Sister Imelda Grace Lee, formerly a member of Christ the King Parish in Indianapolis, professed temporary vows on July 28 as a member of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation based in Nashville, Tenn.

A graduate of Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis, Sister Imelda Grace is the daughter of James and Debra Lee, also members of Christ the King Parish.

She attended Indiana University in Bloomington and is currently enrolled at Aquinas College in Nashville in preparation to become a teacher.

During the July 28 Mass, 14 other members of the order professed their temporary vows with Sister Imelda Grace. Seven sisters professed their perpetual vows.
