Sanctuary

O God, All-Knowing Hiding Place,
Be with those who need to rest:
You know them best.

The weak, the tired, the grieving ones,
The heartsick souls who’ve lost their way:
Be their mainstay.

We who are full of wretchedness,
No strength to overcome the night:
Be our light.

Hide us, Lord, and when we’re strong,
Bring us out
And lead us on.
