The funeral Mass of Archbishop Edward T. O'Meara

This page, taken from the Jan. 24, 1992 issue of The Criterion, reported on the funeral of Archbishop Edward T. O'Meara, who had been the Archbishop of Indianapolis for more than a decade. Perhaps most interesting is that on the front cover, giving the homily at the Mass (a Mass at which four cardinals were present) was Bishop Daniel Buechlein of Indianapolis, who would later be appointed as Archbishop O'Meara's successor.
