Leadership personnelThe Office of Corrections Ministry coordinates sacramental pastoral care for Catholics who are incarcerated in the prisons and jails in the Archdiocese and in re-entry. A key aspect of this mission is the supporting parishes with resources about social justice issues of this ministry.

Currently about 200 parishioners volunteer within the ministry in the Archdiocese, and the number is growing. Check out the Facebook page at ArchindyCorrections for regular posts!

Organization:

The Corrections Committee meets regularly and plays an active role involved in planning and implementation. Members include:

The Archdiocese has limited funding to support purchase of books, Bibles, or other religious materials to support the Mission of Corrections Ministry. More about these resources may be found at: Funding Request Template .11.17
