Position Summary:

Roncalli High School is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registrar to join our Guidance Office team. This role is responsible for maintaining all aspects of student records and ensuring the smooth operation of the Guidance Office in collaboration with the Guidance Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proficiency in Student Information System (SIS), enrollment software, calendar programs, and other tools used in the Guidance Office.
  • Ensure accurate student records in SIS, including data entry, imports/exports, grade processing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the Assistant Principal of Academics on grade-related processes.
  • Provide requested data from SIS and other systems.
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA and Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) transcript requirements; resolve IDOE issues with the Assistant Principal of Academics.
  • Stay current on curriculum, dual credit, and diploma requirements to accurately maintain records and interpret transcripts.
  • Prepare correspondence to parents and maintain historical student transcripts.
  • Manage the student re-enrollment process and assist families with enrollment for the following year.
  • Serve as a resource for parents and students regarding school software systems.
  • Assist counseling staff with additional tasks as needed.
  • Support College Counselor with graduation and baccalaureate activities, including diploma preparation and event attendance.
  • Utilize websites such as ACT, College Board, NCAA, and NAIA for student record maintenance.
  • Coordinate workload with the Guidance Administrative Assistant.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and clerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel & Word; ability to merge documents and create Google Forms.
  • Ability to follow directions, adhere to safety guidelines, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to fostering the mission of the Church and school.
  • Adherence to professional standards of conduct set forth by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must comply with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Code of Conduct and complete Child Safety Training.
  • Successful background screening required.

Working Environment:

  • Work performed primarily in the Guidance Office; occasional exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Full-time schedule during the school year; reduced hours and adjusted schedule during summer months.
