Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)

St. Vincent’s EAP is here for you and your family to use. You do not have to be in a crisis to utilize our services, although we are available for crisis appointments. EAP has a staff of highly experienced counselors, all of whom have at least a Master’s degree with extensive continuing education in a number of specialty areas.

Some key features of the program:

  • It is a free benefit for you, paid for by the Archdiocese.

  • It is confidential.

  • You and your eligible family members each have 7 sessions of counseling available per problem episode. This allows you to utilize your EAP benefit when new issues and problems arise. Eligible family member is defined as spouse, fiancé, children, step-children and foster children up to age 26.

  • If you need more than this program is able to provide, the program will facilitate a referral for additional treatment options.

  • There are several locations as well as evening and early morning hours for your convenience. An appointment can be scheduled close to work or home.

  • Available to see you and your family for a variety of issues including but not limited to personal and work related stress, mood changes, substance abuse, relationship issues, domestic violence, parenting, preparing for retirement, how to better cope with caring for an ill family member or aging parent and thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else.
