School, Church officials praise Indiana court for upholding vouchers

Archdiocesan officials reacted with joy and praise to the Indiana Supreme Court’s unanimous decision on March 26 that the state’s school voucher program--the broadest in the nation--is constitutional. “It’s a major step toward an educational system that truly reinforces that parents are the primary educators of their children,” said Harry Plummer, executive director of the archdiocese’s office of Catholic education. (Page 1)
