At Birthline, we provide free and confidential assistance to pregnant women and mothers of infants in need. Material goods such as maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, baby shampoo and other necessary supplies are provided.

* A referral letter from a local agency such as St. Vincent de Paul, a local church, or a social service agency is requested at the time of the appointment.

Community Partners and other assistance

  • St. Elizabeth/Coleman Pregnancy and Adoption Service offers assistance to women, who choose to parent their child and offer assistance to birthmoms that decide to pursue an adoption plan for their child.  Assistance includes a monthly parent support group, material items, and crisis assistance.   • Great Lake Gabriel Project offers material and spiritual support for women experiencing unplanned or difficult pregnancies. Call (877) 734-2444 for confidential assistance.
    • 1st Choice for Women, located at 5455 W. 86th St., Suite 121, Indianapolis, IN, offers peer-counseling, pregnancy tests and ultrasounds. Call (317) 213-7539 for information or for an appointment. All services are free and confidential.
  • Merciful Help Center, assists residents of Hamilton County and is located at 1045 West 146th Street,Carmel, IN 46032. The Merciful Help Center provides a pregnant women in need with friendship, emotional support and prayer, babysitting and rides to appointments, pastoral care and counseling, resources for medical and prenatal care, financial assistance resources, and resources for housing, education, adoption and employment.
