Jacob’s Prayer

I wrestled with God

I had questions for Him

I asked Him “Why?”

He did not tell me all the answers,

But He did leave me with a blessing.

My pain may remain—

But it reminds me of my dependence on Him.

I wrestled with God

And lived.
