Men with ties to local Church ordained priests for religious orders

Three men who grew up in archdiocesan parishes were recently ordained priests for religious orders in the Midwest.

Holy Cross Father Geoffrey Mooney was previously a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in New Albany. Dominican Father James Pierce Cavanaugh grew up as a member of St. Pius X Parish in Indianapolis. And Jesuit Father Jeffrey Sullivan was previously a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Beech Grove.
