The Promise

Star shining in splendor
Over the place where He lay.
Angel choirs singing hosannas—
The King of kings is born this day.

Heaven and Earth rejoice.

The long-awaited Savior has come,
Fulfilling the age-old promise.
In Him salvation is won.
