My Journey to God

Alleluia

How many shades of blue are there?
Irridescent, with rays suspended in air,
Reflecting on pearl gray ruffles of sea,
You cast a spell of hushed serenity.

Mountain-sized clouds hanging so quiet,
Patiently waiting for entrance of night.
And I am with God, in love with his art,
As refrains of “Alleluia” keep time in my heart.
