My Journey to God

Mother of Faith

How perilous the paths
From crib to cruel tree.
O Mother full of faith,
You stood, you did not flee.

How many times your veil
Would tend an errant tear,
Your fiat find the strength
To conquer human fear.

Pondering your courage,
We know beyond a guess
How true your trust in Him,
How sound your silent yes.
