Fire breaks out in apartment building
one block from SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral

A fire which injured several people, including two firefighters, broke out in an apartment building on the corner of 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Indianapolis on the morning on Thursday, August 4.

The apartment is across the street from SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Indianapolis and the Cathedral Soup Kitchen. It is also about a block away from the Archbishop O'Meara Catholic Center.

The pictures below show the scene on the street, as well as a lucky cat who escaped the fire, albeit it with a few injuries (the cat was cleaned up and given any medical attention it needed). Click on each image for a larger version.
