Dear Bloomington Deanery Parishioners:

I am writing update you on our progress at Catholic Charities Bloomington. Last year our name changed from Catholic Social Services of South Central Indiana and is now Catholic Charities Bloomington. I began as the agency director this past February and am a licensed psychologist who has been a provider of mental health services in the area for many years. Currently I am working with our newly-established agency advisory council to accomplish more in the future.

We continue to serve the counties of Brown, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, and Owen, the Bloomington Deanery of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. We continue to offer a wide range of mental health services for individuals, couples and families, including counseling in Spanish.  We have services in Bloomington and through our parishes and schools in Bedford and Nashville. As always we serve any person in need of our services despite social, economic or religious background.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.  As you know, healthcare costs continue to rise.  Without your support and other generous members of our communities like you, Catholic Charities Bloomington could not continue to reach out to our most vulnerable residents.  With your help we continue to provide our services to those who need them most but often do not have the financial resources to access them.

We welcome any input you would like to give us and will respond to any questions you have about our services. Please visit our new website at www.ccbin.org where you can learn more about Catholic Charities Bloomington.

Sincerely,

Marsha R. McCarty, Ph.D.
Agency Director
