This supplement was published on September 11, 1992

The 40-page souvenir issue of our archdiocesan newspaper, The Criterion, is filled with photos from the archbishop's life, including his childhood in Jasper, Ind., and his early years of ministry as a monk at Saint Meinrad Archabbey. Many stories were included, as were ads welcoming him back to the state. A general history of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, its major dates and former bishops, was also included.
