Ash Wednesday Homily -- SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral

"The resignation of our Holy Father and the coming election of his successor invites the Catholic community through the world to unite in prayer & penance, asking the Lord to...give the Church a pope who will be able to face the challenges of this new millennium. This is an urgent need. Today is an acceptable time. Let us not ignore this day of salvation."
