Early Childhood Classroom Assistant (Full-Time)

Saints Francis & Clare ECM is seeking a caring, reliable Classroom Assistant to support our early childhood program in a nurturing, faith-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily classroom activities and supervise children
  • Assist with meals, cleaning, and classroom organization
  • Foster a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
  • Promote positive behavior and introduce basic Catholic values
  • Collaborate with staff and ensure child safety at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to support the Catholic mission
  • Ability to complete required training, certifications, and background screening

Additional Information

  • Full-time, non-exempt position
  • Physically active role (standing, lifting, bending)
  • Occasional evening hours may be required
