Alumni Relations & Event Coordinator

Scecina Memorial High School is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven professional to serve as our Alumni Relations & Event Coordinator. This role focuses on strengthening alumni engagement while planning and executing key school and community events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate alumni events including the Golf Classic, Homecoming, Alumni Appreciation Night, reunions, and other engagement activities
  • Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, budgets, and volunteer coordination
  • Support donor communications and alumni outreach efforts
  • Maintain and update alumni records using database tools
  • Collaborate with alumni leaders and the Development Team on reunions, class gifts, and engagement strategies
  • Represent Scecina at events and support additional school functions

Qualifications

  • Commitment to the mission of Scecina and the Catholic Church
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 1+ year of experience in event planning, development, or alumni relations preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to complete required background checks

Work Schedule

Primarily office-based with flexible scheduling; evenings and weekends required for events.
