My Journey to God

The Eucharist: More Than A Touch of Jesus

She touched the fringe of His shawl
He made her well
Her faith saved her

Longing to touch Him that closely
Praying for even one moment like that
Jesus, save me

Desiring Him to sit by my side
So I can feel Jesus more nearly
Something only to imagine

Why Lord, can I not get as close as she
who touched your garment
and was set free?

He then whispers in a still small voice
You have been touching me fully
More than the woman who I healed

The Body of Christ
The Eucharist
The One who lets us touch Him

Amen
