General Announcements 

Becky’s Place Run/Walk for Hope on Nov. 27 will benefit Becky’s Place in Bedford

Becky’s Place 5K Run/Walk for Hope will take place at the Downtown Depot, 1401 J St., in Bedford, starting at 9 a.m. on Nov. 27. A 1-mile walk alternative will start at the same time.

Becky’s Place, a ministry of Catholic Charities Bloomington, provides shelter and creates hope for women and children who are experiencing homelessness and moving toward a life of self-sufficiency.

The price for the 5K and the 1-mile walk is $20, with a $2.20 online registration fee. Online registration is preferred; however, walk-ups will be accepted on the day of the event.

Participants can pick up registration packets on Nov. 26 at the Downtown Depot from 1-6 p.m. or on race day at the same location from 8-8:45 a.m.
