The Arms of God

I am lulled to sleep
In the arms of God;
Surrounded by peace,
Immersed in his Love.

Nothing can hurt me,
I’ve nothing to fear,
Safe in my refuge
With God so near.

The secret, of course,
Is he never goes far,
Just the distance I push him
Away from my heart.
