Information, Tips, and Registration Instructions

The files below contain general information about NCYC, package costs and options, frequently asked questions, and instructions on how to complete the registration process.

Group Leader Paperwork

Below you will find all of the forms and paperwork that need to be completed by the group leader during the registration process. Form F is to be filled out if you would like your parish or school to be assessed rather than writing a parish or school check for payment. The last two documents are checklists solely for your benefit. If you find them useful, please feel free to use and copy them. If you do not find them useful, you do not need to print and use them.

Participant Forms

These forms must be filled out by each participant (both youth and chaperone/adult) before being returned to you, the parish or school leader.

Scholarship Forms

There are limited financial resources available for participants that are in need of financial assistance. Below are the applications for the NFCYM Scholarship, the Region VII Scholarship, and the Archdiocesan Scholarship.

Volunteer Information and Link

If you know of people who would like to volunteer to help out with NCYC 2011, please visit our VOLUNTEER PAGE for more information. We are in need of a tremendous number of volunteers to help out with this event.

Youth Animators Information

From the NCYC Youth Participation Site:

Youth Animators are young people who take lead roles in general session programming by leading prayer, song, and movement from the main stage. Youth must apply and be accepted to the program. Applicants do NOT need to be “professionals” or to have had any previous formal training in the areas in which they wish to primarily participate. All youth selected to be animators will be asked to sing and perform basic dance steps whether or not it is their primary area of ministry. All selected applicants must participate in a three-day face-to-face formation program in Indianapolis July 15-17 and in on-site rehearsals starting on Wednesday, November 16.

Youth Ambassadors Information

From the NCYC Youth Participations Site:

Youth Ambassadors are young people who assist with mega workshops and workshops by welcoming participants, assisting in determining when sessions have reached capacity, leading session participants in prayer, introducing and welcoming speakers, and assisting in the evaluation process. Youth do not need any previous experience, but should be comfortable with the possiblity of speaking in front of large groups (200 to 5,000 people). To prepare for their role, ambassadores and their adult chaperones review an online video and written materials and attend an on-site orientation on Thursday night of NCYC (usually at 6:30 pm in the stadium).

Specific information for 2011 and the official program registration form will be posted here by July 1, 2011.
