The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is very enthused and excited to be the host of the 2011 National Catholic Youth Conference November 17-19! As the host Diocese, we serve as the local management team and provide the local coordination of volunteers, Bishop’s hospitality, Liturgy, communications, merchandise, general hospitality, safety & security, fundraising and assistance with the Thematic park.
We work in consultation with the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) to identify methods, resources and structures within the diocese and region.
Our Responsibilities include:
- To guide the overall planning, implementation, and on-going evaluation of the identified local tasks of the conference.
- To recommend methods, resources, and structures within regional, local, and diocesan offices/agencies that can support and contribute to the conference.
- To assist in the post-conference evaluation.
