The HHS mandate and religious freedom

2015 Fortnight for Freedom: June 21 to July 4

Fortnight for Freedom logoFor a fourth year, the U.S. bishops are once again calling for a Fortnight for Freedom from June 21-July 4, which is a time of prayer and action to address many current challenges to religious liberty.  This year’s theme is Fortnight for Freedom: Freedom to Bear Witness, which emphasizes the link between religious freedom and bearing witness to the truth of the Gospel, keeping in mind the sacrifice of so many martyrs for the faith, both past and present.
