The Office for Pro-Life Ministry

Promoting the sanctity of human life and the teaching mission of the Catholic Church are the goals of the Catholic Life Network.

The director for Pro-Life Ministry, Sister Diane Carollo, sits on the board of directors for the Gabriel Project of Indiana, and serves as the spiritual advisor for the local chapter of Catholics United for Faith.

Together in ministry, The Office for Pro-Life Ministry, the Great Lakes Gabriel Project and Catholics United for the Faith (CUF) join forces to promote the sanctity of human life and the Catholic faith in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.

The annual CLN dinner serves as the fundraiser for the Pro-Life Office and the Great Lakes Gabriel Project. Awards are presented to pro-life men and women who serve in our various ministries.

Gabriel Project

The Great Lakes Gabriel Project is a pastoral response to women experiencing difficult pregnancies. The Pro-Life Office enthusiastically supports and endorses this pro-life initiative.

Through the Gabriel Project, individual parishes commit to helping any woman who chooses life for her unborn child. Volunteers provide pastoral, educational and an evangelical outreach services to pregnant women who choose life despite obstacles, challenges and hardships that bringing a pregnancy to term may introduce into their life.

Catholics United for the Faith

Catholics United for the Faith (CUF) is a worldwide lay apostolate that supports, defends and advances the efforts of the Teaching Church.

The Abba, Father Chapter of CUF in Indianapolis, engages in evangelization and catechesis that is faithful to the Church, which is essential to promoting the authentic teachings of the Church on pro-family and pro-life issues.
