Silence -There's Nothing to be Afraid of!

An FBI programan empty chair outside

presented by Sr. Cathy Ann Lepore, OSB

Through an interactive approach, we will investigate the practice of "silence" as a means of connecting with God. Explore several modern techniques to quiet the chatter within; identify the obstacles to inner silence and practice quieting the mind in order to open the heart.

Enjoy the silence and listen to God!

Sr. Cathy Anne has been a part of Our Lady of Grace Monastery for 21 years. Professionally, Sr. Cathy Anne is an Atheltic Trainer who comes to us from Massachusetts, where her Italian family instilled upon her a deep love for gardening and the outdoors. Her love of nature has led to her helping in the monastic gardens for the last 15 years. She has created several lovely garden spaces and helps tend the trees on the monastery grounds in her spare time. As a teacher of Theology at Roncalli High School, she has been able to delve into the lives of the women in the Bible. The combination of her creativity, theology, and eco-mindedness make her a motivated and inspirational presenter.

We will offer Mass at 5 pm, followed by dinner and the program. This program takes place at Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House.
