Outreach to inactive or alienated Catholics
We are happy you are looking into your Catholic faith! Parish priests, pastoral staff and parishioners are eager for you to come back to church. Below you will find resources that can answer some questions, but please feel free to contact your local parish or Archdiocesan staff (contact information below) to begin reconnecting.
Catholics Come Home offers information for people who are not Catholic, who used to be Catholic and for Catholics who want to grow in their faith. Catholics Come Home is dedicated to presenting the honest truth about even very difficult subjects and wants to share the beautiful, historical and miraculous aspects of the Catholic Church. People who have taken the time to explore the site are sometimes surprised to find out that there is much more to Catholicism than they ever realized.
This Franciscan Friars program at St. Anthony Messenger seeks to help people reconnect with a local Catholic faith community. Once Catholic does this by offering: information, opportunities for interaction with others, personal responses and referral to "Come Home" programs within the Catholic Church in the US.
Parish Programs for Returning Catholics
Many parishes in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis offer programs for Catholics who are considering returning to the practice of their Catholic faith. Call your local parish to find out if one of these programs is being offered.
May we assist you in your journey of faith?
