Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services is a program which provides legal advice and representation to immigrants and their families. Our program is designed to guide clients through the immigration process with care and efficiency. 

Services include:

• Adjustment of Status (Green Card)
• Naturalization
• Family Petition
• Employee Authorization
• Asylum

Scheduling an Appointment:

If you would like to schedule an appointment for consultation, you may do so by calling, e-mailing, or visiting the Catholic Center. It is important that you have all the documents necessary at your appointment along with completed forms. For a list of required forms and documents, please contact the CCI legal services office. 

If you contact us by phone and no one is available to assist you, please leave a message and allow 48 hours for a staff member to respond.

Fees:

• Consultation           $30 (fee will be applied to service fee if case is accepted)
• Adjustment of Status        $100
• Employment Authorization  $25
• Family Visa Petitions          $300
• Naturalization                   $175
• Refugee Relative Petition    $50

 

Civics/ESL classes:

Catholic Charities offers classes to Legal Permanent Residents for preparation toward naturalization. The classes prepare a student for tests required for naturalizing as well as the interview process. 2 levels are offered: one level focuses on the interview, possible questions asked for the test, and other topics related to the application process. The second level focuses more on learning ESL with naturalization as a primary topic.

Requirements:

You must have Legal Permanent Residence status (must have Green Card).

Each student will be given an assessment to determine in which level he or she will be placed.

Fees:

The cost of enrollment is $100, which covers books and materials.
